Keeping Chicago IN Style

I was excited to see that Mayor Daley is trying to keep local fashion designers in Chicago. Earlier this week he created the Fashion Advisory Council to bring together local designers and give the fashion industry a solid base. This is something Chicago really needs to get the fashion industry in Chicago to grow and flourish. Many local designers get their start here but then move to New York or LA to advance their career. Pooltime Accessories

I can't think of a better way to spend a warm summer day than at the pool. I came across some great pool/beach wear on Intermix's website. I wish they had a store in Chicago so I could try it on the swimsuit. The thongs are by Mystique - so cute! I'm obsessed with the MICHAEL by Michael Kors straw tote but the price ($350) is ridiculous for a bag that will have to endure the wear and tear of the pool/beach.
